Héliotrope

3 – 26 April 2025 DEMAIN Studios, Brussels

The title of this exhibition comes from the Greek hēlios (sun) and trepein (to turn).

In Héliotrope, Ethel Coppieters intertwines the ancient symbolism of light with the fluid, sensual lines of the female body. Her figures echo the Three Graces — standing side by side, brushing against one another — an ode to sisterhood. Solo exhibition at DEMAIN Studios, Brussels.

If We Could Dance Forever

4 December 2025 – 10 January 2026 Valerius Gallery, Luxembourg

If we could dance forever presents paintings of women in motion — dancing, flowing, radiating joy — set against hard-edged, vibrant backgrounds. Coppieters’ figures celebrate imperfect, human grace: bodies that defy traditional ideals, inspired by the women in her life and transformed into personal mythologies. Second solo show at Valerius Gallery, Luxembourg.
